אודות

פרופ' אריה קיזל הוא פילוסוף של החינוך המתרכז במחקריו ובפרסומיו בהיבטים המעשיים של הפילוסופיה בעיקר בתחומים ובהקשרים הרחבים של החינוך. הוא גם חוקר ספרי לימוד, תוכניות לימודים ונרטיבים של קבוצות חברתיות כמו מזרחים וקהילות קתוליות דוברות עברית.

בעבר שמש נשיא האגודה הבינלאומית לפילוסופיה עם ילדים וראש הוועדה הישראלית-גרמנית לחקר ספרי לימוד בהיסטוריה, אזרחות וגיאוגרפיה.

כיום משמש נשיא האגודה הים-תיכונית לפילוסופיה עם ילדים וכראש-שותף של אגודת Discourse in Public Spaces. הוא חבר הנהלת הקתדרה של אונסק"ו לפילוסופיה עם ילדים ושותף בפרויקטים בינלאומיים בתחומי הדיאלוג והחינוך.
