Greetings to Dr. Tamar Almog on the publication of her new book: ׳Academia: All the Lies ׳

The Government Press Office has chosen to present the new book of Dr. Tamar Almog (faculty of Education) and Prof. Oz Almog (faculty of Humanities) to foreign  correspondents in Israel – as one of the new bestsellers that gained wide public and media attention.
Institutions of higher education around the world are currently immersed in the most severe crisis ever in their history. They are about to undergo a dramatic change following the COVID 19 pandemic. Their book "Academia: All the Lies: What Went Wrong in the University Model and What Will Come in its Place" foresaw this very crisis, and offer an alternative model for science and higher education suitable to this global new era.

The English version of the book was published in August 2020 with the generous financial contribution provided by the faculty of Education, faculty of Humanities, and the research authority of the University of Haifa.
