The Center for Interdisciplinary Research of Emotions is designed to promote and deepen the systematic and integrative understanding of emotions, based on a combination of research disciplines.
The center supports research that deals with basic emotions and with  complex emotional reactions over time, while focusing on social, political, economic and military occurrences in Israel.
In addition, the Center conducts national and international conferences dealing with various aspects of the study of emotions.

Edmond J. Safra Center for Brain and Learning Disabilities Research
 
The Center for Brain and Learning Disabilities Research at the University of Haifa, Israel's first, was established to combine basic and applied research in the areas of basic skills such as reading, writing, arithmetic and second language, cognitive skills such as motor skills, attention, perception, and the fields of emotion and behavior related to learning processes and learning disabilities in a multi-age population from toddlers to adults. The researchers who are partners in the center come from the fields of psychology, neuropsychology, medicine and computer science. The center includes various laboratories: Laboratory for Neurocognitive Research, Brain Imaging Laboratory, Laboratory for the Study of Reading, Unit for the Study of arithmetic and mathematics disabilities and an  LSU  unit for diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities among toddlers to adults.  
The studies conducted in these laboratories combine an interdisciplinary perception that is based, among others, on different methods and theoretical approaches which have been developed over the years by researchers at the center. The center's studies are conducted using behavioral and electrophysiological measures (EEG, ERP and source assessment methods), using fMRI and instrumentation to monitor eye movement and sound analysis. The Center works in collaboration with researchers around the world, including Switzerland, Netherlands, USA, Germany, France, Finland and the United Kingdom.
The Center offers PhD and postdoctoral scholarships and winning them is based on excellence and interest.

RANGE Center- Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Giftedness and Excellence
Academic Head:  Prof. Roza Leikin
The center's objectives include the development and implementation of theoretical and applied research in the field of giftedness and excellence; Support of applications of research findings in the area of academic excellence and giftedness; founding and nurturing international relationships with similar institutions and with countries that operate a system of identifying and nurturing gifted and talented students.
The center should help attract a population of gifted and outstanding to study at Haifa University.

Center for Educational Administration and Evaluation
Academic Head: Prof. Zehava Rosenblatt
The center was founded in 1973 to promote theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of education administration. Today the head of the center is Dr. Zehava Rosenblatt. The center conducts various educational projects, workshops and lectures for administrators. The center publishes, since 1974, the journal "Studies in Educational Administration and Planning" edited by Dr. Michael Katz. The journal publishes scientific articles in the field of educational administration in the country. The center is managed by a steering committee that includes representatives of academia at the university, a public figure, and representatives of the university administration. Board members are appointed by the President of the University and the Rector on the basis of the recommendation of the dean and the director of the center.
