The University of Haifa is proud to host the 46th Annual Conference of the International Group for the\u00a0 Psychology of Mathematics Education<\/strong> (PME46<\/a>) on July 16-21, 2023. The conference theme is \u201cMathematics Education for Global Sustainability.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>

Michal Ayalon<\/strong> will present a paper titled \u201cExploring the use of argumentation classroom situations to enhance teachers\u2019 noticing-of-argumentation\u201d in international symposium on \u201cWhat Constitutes Teacher Noticing of Critical Events?” at the 2023 Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association in Chicago (USA).<\/p>

Shai Olsher<\/strong> will lead the Topic Work Group on curricular resources and task design in mathematics education (TWG22) at the 2023 13th Congress of European Research in Mathematics Education. (link<\/a>)<\/p>

Laurie Rubel<\/strong>, together with J. Shahbari, will present a paper titled \u201cTeachers & The Gender Equality Paradox in Math\u201c at the 2023 Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association in Chicago (USA) (link<\/a>)<\/p>

Michal Ayalon<\/strong>, together with Despina Potari, Giorgios Psycharis, and Samaher Nama presented a paper titled \u201cTransforming critical events through script writing in mathematics teacher education\u201d at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education held in Spain.\u00a0<\/p>

Michal Ayalon<\/strong> and Samaher Nama<\/strong> presented a paper titled \u201cExploring Change in Secondary Mathematics Teachers’ Noticing of Argumentation\u201d at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education held in Spain.\u00a0<\/p>

Michal Ayalon<\/strong> and Sigal Rotem<\/strong> presented a paper titled \u201cFrom a Pre-service to Novice Mathematics Teacher: Changes in Attending to Critical Events\u201d at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education held in Spain.\u00a0<\/p>
