PhD in the Department of Mathematics Education
The program is designed for those with a master’s degree (MA or equivalent degree) from an authorized higher education institution, in a course which includes writing a thesis (thesis). The target audience are people dealing with mathematical education or related fields: mathematics teachers, software and learning environments developers, those that engage in teaching mathematics in special education and learning disabilities programs . Another target audience is those engaged in mathematics and have a degree in mathematics or computer science, who are interested in expanding their research in mathematics education.
PhD Department of Learning Disabilities
Doctoral studies are designed to train researchers and are based on independent research work and participation in at least three courses. The duration of studies of the doctoral program is four years. In order to apply for doctoral studies one can register via the internet or buy a graduate registration kit. Applicants must include copies of the first and second degrees. In addition, please fill out the forms required by the Department: Recommendations, confirmation of contact with an instructor, grades sheets, resume and statement of intent in four copies of the secretariat of the Department.
PhD in the Department of Learning and Instructional Sciences
PhD (doctoral) are designed for selected students, with a master’s degree (thesis course), interested in specializing in a specific subject in the fields of learning, teaching and training and performing extensive and in-depth research on this subject. PhD studies include participation in a limited number of courses and their main requirement is writing a research proposal, conducting and writing the final research report – all under the guidance of a personal supervisor from the department. The length of studies is four years.
PhD in the Department of Special Education
Doctoral studies are intended for training the researcher or lecturer in higher education settings and are based on independent research work and participation in at least three courses. The duration of studies in the doctoral program is four years.

Doctoral studies are intended for training the researcher or lecturer in higher education settings and are based on independent research work and participation in at least three courses.
PhD in the Department of Counseling
PhD (doctoral PhD) studies are designed for selected students, with a master’s degree (thesis course), interested in specializing in a specific subject in the fields of counseling and human development and in carrying out extensive and in-depth research on this subject. PhD studies include participation in a limited number of courses and their main requirement is writing a research proposal, conducting and writing the final research report – all under the guidance of a personal supervisor from the Department.
